It's possible there wasn't a limit before or something, but it's still a bad way to distribute an app.I know nothing about app development, is it possible to have every instance of an app use a different api key?Possible, probably - but you as a user would have to register with google for an api key and then put it in the app. They accumulate and hit the api daily request limit. It's every instance of the app they have installed everywhere in the world that is using the same api key apparently. The update adds support for a new Pro Display Calibrator. I'm gonna try turning off "background app refresh" and auto-sync for this app on the mobile devices, so that it only syncs on those devices when I manually sync, see if that keeps all 3 under the limit of syncs with Google Tasks.Unfortunately, you're not the problem. Apple has released a new software update for its Studio Display today, bringing the external display to firmware version 16.4. That sucks, it's by far the best to-do list app I've ever found. Unfortunately, the app is probably toast.Damn. The app dev is abusing Google's api and has been cut off.
